Food Recall
The Daily Press ran a front page
story on March 20, 2007 discussing a
recall of pet foods that have been
linked to kidney failure deaths and
euthanasias in pets. The affected
foods are canned and pouched foods
issued under a variety of name and
store-brand labels. Coastal
strongly recommends that you visit
the manufacturer’s web site to check
the specific brand of food used by
your pets, and that you check the
product codes on food you are
currently feeding.
To our knowledge, none of the foods
that Coastal has used as our kennel
brand have been affected, but it is
our goal to ensure the health and
safety of all our beloved canine
clients in any way that we can.
